Avacon Natur and we have been interested in a joint pilot project for some time – Now it is time to move on to concrete implementation. For this purpose, the technically oriented planning meeting took place on Wednesday morning in the prototype laboratory for energy storage systems of the IfES EES.
Operating wind farms with energy storage systems sounds promising – which is why Avacon would like to initiate a demonstration project in this area and thus use the Hypnetic energy storage system. The aim is to be able to cover the wind farm’s own consumption with the locally produced wind energy, even when the wind is not blowing.
